GLEVUM Heating of Gloucester scooped three accolades at the National Energy Efficiency and Renewable Awards.
The event at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena was hosted by Nick Hewer of BBC’s The Apprentice and Glevum Heating picked up a record-breaking six nominations.
The company won “Residential Retrofit Project of the Year” with its client Aster Housing and was then awarded “Air Source Installer of the Year”. This meant that it was nominated for the final award and biggest accolade: “Energy Efficient Installer of the Year”.
Glevum Heating also took this top award for commitment to all areas of renewable technologies. Company founders Glenn Smith and Lee Derbidge were at the award ceremony to collect the awards and said they were very proud to have gained such recognition.
Glenn Smith said: “Lots of people have worked very hard over the last three years to expand the renewables side of Glevum Heating and tonight has made all of that hard work worthwhile. We have been fortunate to win three other awards this year already, but these awards are judged at the highest level and it’s not easy to impress some of the judges so we have obviously done extremely well.”
